it's 945am in my friday morning, I only got 1 class today, so it's a good time to rest.
ytd's session @ sunset was ok. I din move much, partly I'm intimidated by the pros, partly I din feel very fit. I have aches all over, esp left shoulder. .
met a japanese guy during the session who also does locking. he told me there's a locking session on mondays and the studio is near to my house. accessible from the muni train, whereas i need to change 1 time bus to get to sunset. i guess i'll head down to the studio n check out some lockin' next monday. hahaha, what's locking? watch this:
I found this out of coincidence, and I'm really surprised that it's from Singapore! Singapore's dance culture is pretty undeveloped, din't know there're lockers, and one of the girls. woohooo, respects. This is the performance during Step It Up II, a bboyin' event. anw I regret not attending it back when I was still in sg. Check out the lockin' routine anw, here's it.
pretty cool huh?
another lockin' routine.
here's more picsture of my sch:

do that indian step! and stop doing belly spins! haha

this is last nite on the way to sunset, lookin back after walking for 10 blocks

and this is on my way home at night, super creepy cos there's no one on the road.

I rarely blog nowadays, perhaps only 1 or 2 update every month or every alternate month. Blogging just isn't so interesting. Tos that updates frequently must be bimbos, just look around in xanga. I'm blogging now cos I'm really bored.
This is the 2nd week of my school, so far everything's going pretty well. I did a lot of homeworks before selecting classes this time, making sure I get the good professors, and so I did. School aside, I had a lot of fun shits I wanna show, like I visited Mystery Spot weeks ago and the Santa Cruz beach, places in sf and all, but those are too ephemeral to live in my memory, or I've simply lost the "feel" to write about it.
I definitely returned to sf too early. Been spending a lot of money hanging out wit frens, on my new house and school. So far life has been okay, much better than the previous term. I've grown a bit sick of cooking everyday, always cooking the same shit, beef beef and more beef. Weather is quite hot these 2 days, but other times it gets freezing, sf's weather is wack.
I went back to bboyin' cos there're sessions at city college. In fact many of the guys are the same ppl whom I met in the training spot in Sunset district last semester. Anw, right now I'm living in the Sunset too, but at the boarder. The sessions in school is cool, except that it's held outdoors. They dance right outside 1 of the halls in a open space. These 2 or 3 days have been surprisingly & awfully sunny. The sun is toxic, with zero cloud cover, it literally burns if u stay under the sun for a while. Last friday I went to the session, there was a mat put in the centre so that we don hav to roll & spin on concrete floor, someone oso brought a boombox. The whole atmosphere is actually very cool if you think about it. Brought the art back to it's original form - on the streets. And it's unlike USF, school for rich and fucked up retards. I see more ppl in my school now, I mean, USF is expensive, so the students are mostly whites, and they're wasted, they smoke a lot of weed and drink a lot of liqor. It's fun to hang out wit more people, blacks, mexicans, asians and others. They're all frenly, at least the bboys are.
Anw, so I had a fun time hanging out last friday after my class, it was so hot, my neck got burnt. But it was all cool, for everyone is awesome. Even the newbies, or those with a weight issue. They all danced so happily, there's one fatty, he's really cute man. Everyone laughed at his 6-steps which looked like a ball spining around, his knee-spins, it's super hilarious. He even performed a bell spin out of the crowd's request. It's ownage. Respects for his courage and sportsmanship. See that's the difference between angmohs and asians, we're too held back and shy. And for the exact same reason, American Idol's prelim rounds will only be funny if it's held in America lol. Perhaps not. We'll see.
Ok yeah, check out my schedule:
Mon: Managerial Accounting 0830 - 1100, Calculus I 1200 - 1300
Tues: US History 0930 - 1100, Calculus I 1200-1300
Weds: See Mon
Thurs See Tues
Fri: Calculus I 1200 - 1300
Sat: Marcroecons 0930 - 1230
Pretty slack huh? Friday only 1 1-hour class.
I guess I'll spend more time this semester pursuing my interest.
As for work, I've applied for two, and went for 1 interview, will only know the results next week, it's all office work. Call students and remind them of appointments, filing, sending emails, and provide other clerical support. I hope I get it tho. I wanna quit being a stupid fucking-restaurant-guy. Everytime I apply for job I gotta write resume, in the section " work experience" I got naught to write. Like wat, waiter at Shangri-la? Floor staff at cross-roads cafe? Job duties like perform inventory checks, stock up supplies, make sandwiches, pizzas, serve wedding dinners, clean up ballrooms. I ain't gonna cont this shit no more.
I think I've bragged enuff. Some pics:
that's beef
see that foggy weather? took this in school
